Turnout Manually operated or powered The Turnout swivel base is of great help for those who have difficulties getting in and out of their vehicle. By swivelling the seat outwards you have considerably improved your possibilities of sitting down or rising up. TURNOUT 2 and 4 are manually operated. Lift the lever, placed at the side of the seat, to release it and then swivel the seat outwards. TURNOUT 2E and 4E are powered and operates by pressing a hand control button. The big advantage of having a powered Turnout is that you can fully concentrate on moving your feet over the sill. Just let go of the button if you need to interrupt the swivelling movement.

Carony System CARONY is available with two different wheel alternatives: 12" rear wheels, which is a transport wheelchair for those unable to drive themselves and with 24" drive wheels, for those who can. CARONY can be used in a standard small car and simplifies transport to and from the vehicle. With the help of CARONY, you can move your passenger in and out of the car on your own, without lift¬ing, thereby saving your arms and back. CARONY is simple and comfortable for both the wheelchair user and the assistant. The CARONY system, 12" and 24", consists of a wheel¬unit, a comfortable seat, which is used both inside and outside the vehicle and the swivel base TURNOUT fitted to the car. By means of a couple of simple manual operations, you move the seat and passenger from the wheelchair frame to the passenger position in the car. The compact wheel unit is stored in the boot when not in use. For vehicles with a higher step up, such as minibuses, SUVs and vans, CARONY can be combined with the car seat lift TURNY. When seated in the car, the passenger uses the standard fitted seat belt. The seat is specially designed, collision test¬ed and approved in accordance with current legal requirements. In addition, a number of practical accessories make the seat easy to adapt if you have any special wishes or requirements for sitting comfort. CARONY 12" and 24" can be used with most car models - small or large, 2- or 4¬door. Fitting must be carried out by competent and trained staff, with responsibility for function and safety inside as well as outside the vehicle.
